Paul Bard has served in the jan/san/paper supply industry since 1989. He entered the industry as a National Sales Manager for Microtron Abrasives, moving after 3 1/2 years to Norton Company as National Sales Manager. He learned the janitorial and paper markets from the ground up, spending many hours at the end-user level helping distributors serve their customers through training and promotional programs.

Paul started Bard Enterprises in 1995 because he felt a need to get back to the basics of business by genuinely servicing and training the distributor community through extensive end-user focus.

Paul LaMachio has served the packaging industry for over 10 years, calling on all of the major distributors, building business by focusing on key end-user manufacturing targets. Paul founded PAL-PAK in 2000 and served as president and sales manager of that organization, building a professional and reputable manufacturer’s rep agency in the process. In the fall of 2007, PAL-PAK merged with Bard Enterprises and created a combined rep agency that would more capably serve its principals with increased representation and with a higher degree of end user focus in the marketplace.

Bard Enterprises was established in 1995 as a sole proprietorship with its headquarters in Charlotte, NC. We immediately set out to represent high quality manufacturers of janitorial and paper disposable products. In 2007, Bard Enterprises merged with PAL-PAK, forming the current company, Bard Enterprises SE LLC. The result diversified our product categories as well as providing a better geographical coverage to all of the major distributors in the marketplace.

The merger of Bard Enterprises and PAL-PAK allows us to bring over 125 years of selling experience to the marketplace to more capably support our distributors. Combined with strong relationships in the market, our experience has proven to be a successful formula for sales growth and profitability.

Our plans include at least one more sales associate and another full-time inside person. We will continue to explore any acquisition/merger opportunities that may help to strengthen our company through diversification. We will maintain a focus to build our core distributor business by establishing strong relationships in the field with key distributor sales personnel and major end-users.

Bard Enterprises is currently regarded as one of the most professional manufacturers’ representative organizations in our service area. In the upcoming quarters, we will continue to invest at least 50% of our selling efforts to key end-user development.
